Pros:
They handle Internet, retail, mail and phone, and mobile credit card processing for home based, small to Fortune 500 companies. Their rates are better than competitive, contracts are month-to-month with no cancellation fee, and there is no monthly minimum. They offer seasonal downtime and the desirable interchange plus pricing. A nice range of equipment is offered. Uses the respected Authorize.net payment gateway.
Cons:
Picky, Picky, Picky about who they pick. Acceptance/approval rate is around 95%. But if picked, it’s like a golden ticket. Direct customer service is Monday through Friday 9am-8pm (ET) but 24/7 with affiliates. Through affiliates, they selectively provide high risk, bad credit and international merchant account services. (High risk includes many categories, such as travel, multi-level marketing companies, high ticket electronics and jewelry, pharmaceuticals and supplements, adult, VOIP telephone services, event tickets, and more.)
OUR FINAL CONCLUSION
TTG has many desirable features as outlined in the “Pros” section above. We could find no complaint postings on this company and there’s probably a very good reason for that: The Transaction Group is an excellent company to do business with.
